Schedule a complimentary Meet & Greet.

1. Schedule your complimentary Meet & Greet.

We’ll visit your home to meet you and your pet(s), learn about their routine, answer your questions, and make sure we’re the perfect fit.

2. Activate your client account.
After your Meet & Greet, we’ll email you an invitation to create your secure Time To Pet account, where you can request services, update your pet’s information, communicate with us, and pay invoices.

3. Request your services.
Once your account is set up, simply submit your service requests through your client portal. We’ll confirm your reservation and take care of the rest, so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind.

1. Get to know each other.
Your complimentary Meet & Greet takes place in your home so we can meet you and your pet(s), learn about their routine, and make sure we’re the perfect fit for your family.

2. Review your pet’s care.
We’ll go over feeding, medications, walks, favorite hiding spots, routines, emergency information, and answer any questions you may have. This is also the perfect time to show us where supplies are kept and share any special instructions.

3. Home access & security.
We’ll collect your key (if needed), test entry into your home, and review any alarm or lockbox instructions to ensure everything is ready before your first visit. We highly recommend using a lockbox for secure key storage.

4. Ready for future visits.
Once your Meet & Greet is complete, you’ll be all set to request services through your client portal whenever you need us. For the safety of your pets and our team, we cannot provide services until the Meet & Greet has been completed.

Visits are scheduled using the following Time To Pet service blocks:

Early Morning: 6:00–8:00 AM
Morning: 8:00–10:00 AM
Late Morning: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Early Afternoon: 1:00–3:00 PM
Afternoon: 3:00–5:00 PM
Late Afternoon: 5:00–6:00 PM
Evening: 7:00–8:00 PM

We carefully plan our daily routes and make every effort to arrive within your selected service block. Because we work with animals, unexpected delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or a pet needing additional care.

Dogs and pets with medication or other time-sensitive needs receive scheduling priority. Cat-only visits are generally scheduled outside the busiest dog-care periods unless specific timing is medically necessary.

Our focus is providing exceptional in-home pet care. We believe pets experience less stress and are happiest when they can remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Boarding is not offered to the general public and is only considered in rare circumstances for established clients.

Elite Pet Service proudly serves Port Orange and select areas of New Smyrna, South Daytona and Daytona Beach Shores. Our service area is intentionally limited so we can provide dependable, personalized care and prompt response times.

Absolutely! Once your Meet & Greet is complete and your account has been activated, you can begin requesting services through your Time To Pet client portal. We recommend submitting vacation requests as early as possible to ensure availability.

To ensure accuracy and prevent scheduling errors, all service requests, changes, and cancellations must be submitted through your Time To Pet client portal. This helps us keep your schedule organized and ensures every visit is accounted for.

If you have a question or need assistance, you’re always welcome to contact us—we’re happy to help!

The number of daily visits depends on your pet’s needs.

  • Dogs: A minimum of three visits per day is required while you’re away.
  • Cats: A minimum of one visit per day is required.

Some pets—such as puppies, senior pets, or those with medical needs—may require additional visits. We’ll help you determine the best schedule during your Meet & Greet.

We provide professional in-home care for a wide variety of pets, including:

  • Dogs
  • Cats
  • Birds
  • Rabbits
  • Guinea pigs
  • Hamsters
  • Gerbils
  • Ferrets
  • Reptiles
  • Fish
  • Chickens and backyard poultry
  • Many other small companion animals

If you have a pet that’s not listed, just ask! We’re happy to discuss your pet’s unique care needs.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, every effort will be made to ensure your pet’s visits continue as scheduled.

If your primary sitter is unable to complete a visit, another qualified Elite Pet Service team member may step in. Because your pet’s care instructions, home information, and emergency contacts are securely stored in our Time To Pet system, your pet’s routine can continue with minimal disruption.

We’ll notify you as soon as possible if a substitute sitter is needed. In the rare event a visit must be shortened due to an emergency, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

No. Every walk is private and includes only dogs from the same household. We never combine dogs from different families.

For the safety and comfort of your pets, large dogs that pull, senior dogs, or dogs with different walking abilities may be walked separately to ensure each receives the attention and exercise they deserve.

The safety of our team is our highest priority. We are unable to provide services for pets with a known history of aggression toward people or pets, including biting or attempted biting.

If, at any time, a sitter feels unsafe entering your home or caring for your pet, Elite Pet Service reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services. We will contact you immediately to discuss the situation and determine the safest course of action.

Yes! We are experienced in administering a wide variety of medications, including:

  • Oral medications (tablets, capsules, and liquids)
  • Topical medications
  • Eye and ear medications
  • Insulin injections
  • Subcutaneous (Sub-Q) fluids
  • Inhalers and other prescribed treatments

A completed Medication Authorization Form with detailed written instructions is required before services begin. For your pet’s safety, all prescription medications must be provided in their original labeled prescription containers.

Being licensed, bonded, and insured provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind. In the unlikely event of an accident or negligence on our part, appropriate coverage is in place to help protect you, your pets, your home, and our team while services are being provided.

Your home’s security is extremely important to us.

All client keys and key fobs are labeled with a unique identification number—never your name or address. Gate codes, alarm codes, garage door codes, and other access information are securely stored in your encrypted Time To Pet account and are only accessible to authorized Elite Pet Service team members.

For your convenience and added security, we highly recommend using a lockbox whenever possible.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit or debit card through your secure Time To Pet client portal are assessed a 2.9% convenience fee
  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • Apple Pay
  • Cash
  • PayPal

Payment is due on or before the first day of scheduled services.

Elite Pet Service is committed to using positive reinforcement and fear-free handling techniques whenever possible. We will never use physical punishment or harsh corrections.

If your pet displays behaviors that create a safety concern—such as aggression, excessive pulling, escaping, destructive behavior, or repeated attempts to bite—we’ll discuss the situation with you and work together to determine the safest solution. In some cases, additional training or behavior modification may be recommended before services can continue.

If we notice any signs that your pet may be ill or injured, we’ll contact you immediately to discuss the situation.

If you cannot be reached and we believe your pet requires prompt medical attention, we’ll seek veterinary care using the veterinarian you’ve authorized. If your regular veterinarian is unavailable, we’ll transport your pet to the emergency veterinary hospital

Your pet’s health and well-being will always be our highest priority, and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Your pet’s safety always comes first. During periods of extreme heat, walks may be shortened to help prevent heat exhaustion or burned paw pads. Any remaining visit time will be spent indoors playing, providing enrichment, and giving your pet plenty of attention.

During heavy rain or thunderstorms, we’ll wait for a break in the weather whenever possible. Dogs will receive a quick potty break when it’s safe to go outside, and the remainder of the visit will be spent indoors.

Your pet’s safety is our highest priority. If a hurricane threatens our area, we’ll communicate with you as early as possible regarding your pet’s care.

We require every client to provide a local emergency contact who can assume responsibility for their pet if conditions become unsafe or government restrictions prevent us from traveling. This may occur due to mandatory evacuations, road closures, flooding, curfews, or other emergency conditions.

Elite Pet Service will make every reasonable effort to continue caring for your pets as long as it is safe and legally possible to do so. However, we will never place our team at unnecessary risk by traveling through dangerous conditions.

To reserve your dates, a 50% non-refundable reservation deposit is required.

If you cancel 7 days or less before your scheduled services (or 14 days for holiday reservations), the full reservation balance is due. Because we reserve this time exclusively for your pets, we often turn away other families during these dates.

If you return home earlier than scheduled, refunds or credits are not available for unused visits.

For complete details, please refer to our Service Agreement.
